About the Author
Michelle was born in Trinidad and Tobago.
From an early age, she had always dreamed of becoming an author. She began an amazing adventure when she wrote her first book, Oh Happy Day.
She drew inspiration from the vibrant storytelling traditions of Trinidad and Tobago, incorporating elements of Caribbean culture into her work.
She has read excerpts from "Oh Happy Day" at various secondary schools in Trinidad, helping students appreciate the linguistic diversity of Trinidadian dialect.
Michelle continues to write, inspire young readers, and advocate for literacy through her work in libraries and the community.
